We’re looking for someone who is proactive and keen on process improvement, to bring valuable knowledge to the team to help both The Learning Adventure and The Dragon Trip achieve their best results.
Key Responsibilities
- General SEO breadth required alongside technical depth
- Keyword research, tracking, and analysis –identifying keywords that align with our industry and audiences, ensuring that our sites are continually optimizing with these in mind and tracking their performance, and analysing to make sure that we are improving performance in search and discoverability.
- Audience analysis– evaluating where our keywords and optimizations on page are aligning with target markets, and helping to identify new opportunities for developing in line with potential audiences.
- Content optimization – ensuring that all content, marketing-based (i.e. blog posts) and landing pages/trip pages, are optimized for target keywords and fit alongside wider brand strategy.
- Link-building – work to identify new opportunities for link building, researching opportunities to establish relationships with key link builders, evaluating their usefulness, and building brand EEAT trust behind the scenes.
- Reporting – for all implementations around general SEO, be able to provide in-depth, tailored reporting that closely monitors how all optimizations have impacted conversion rates, enquiries, and bookings across both sites.Ultimately, reporting should be able to track end-to-end, proving ROI of all SEO work.
- Technical audits and review capabilities – use company tool stacks to continually evaluate site performance and site schem as flagging errors, speed issues, indexing, 404s, broken internal links, and dead user loops. You should also be confident executing fixes and optimizations designed to avoid these, ensuring that our sites stay as functional as possible, with improvements made with the user experience in mind.
- GEO / AEO optimization – understanding that changing search landscapes require adapted optimization strategies, ensure that all content on site is not only optimized for traditional search, but for discoverability, citations, and ranking in AI models and LLMs, such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. You should understand how keyword identification and prompting differs from traditionalSEO and make recommendations and implementations that support all search landscapes.
- Website CRO – using this optimization mindset, you should be able to lead on identifying areas for growth that improve user journeys on both sites, identifying drop-off points, bounce areas, and potentials for streamlining that make the UX as smooth as possible.
- Overall strategy – you should be confident identifying, researching, executing, and reporting on key SEO, GEO and site optimization projects. Sign-off and wider marketing strategy will be shaped in collaboration with the wider team, but the Specialist should be comfortable to self-generate and present improvements and ideas that fill in the gaps in existing team knowledge and push both brands further.
